❦Engagement Ring Engraving

Bring New Meaning to Your Engagement Ring

Traditional hand engraving can transform an engagement ring, adding character, sentiment, and individuality.

Whether you're restoring an heirloom, adding ornament to a new ring, or creating a design to complement a wedding band, every engraving is completed by hand from my Adelaide workshop.

What can be engraved?

• Scrollwork

• Bright-cut ornament

• Floral engraving

• Leaf and vine patterns

• Borders and milgrain accents

• Initials and hidden details

• Matching existing engraving

• Restoration of worn ornament

Every Ring Has Its Own Story

No two engagement rings are alike.

Some arrive brand new, waiting for a personal touch.

Others have travelled through generations, their engraving softened by time.

Whether creating something entirely new or carefully restoring what already exists, my aim is always to respect the character of the piece while giving it new life through traditional hand engraving.

Things People Often Ask

Please reach us at sales@emtengraving.com.au if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Most engagement rings can be engraved with the stone safely remaining in place. Every ring is assessed individually, and where extra precautions are needed, I'll discuss them with you beforehand.

Absolutely.

Many clients bring rings they've worn for years. Engraving can add ornament, inscriptions or new details without changing what makes the ring special.

Yes.

If your wedding band already carries engraving, I can often create ornament that complements or continues the existing design, allowing the two rings to sit together naturally.

Often it can.

Where previous engraving has softened through years of wear, it may be possible to carefully refresh the original pattern while respecting its character.

Every project is different.

Simple engraving may only take a short time, while more detailed ornament or restoration requires longer. I'll provide an estimate before work begins.

Yes.

Initials, dates, vows, and short personal inscriptions can all be engraved inside many engagement rings.

Of course.

Some clients arrive with detailed ideas, while others simply know how they want the ring to feel. Together we can explore ornament, symbols and inscriptions until the design feels right.

Internal Inscription Pricing and Quotations

Every inscription is individually quoted, as pricing depends on the length of the inscription, the lettering style, and the object being engraved.

A fixed quote is always provided before any work begins, so you'll know exactly what to expect before making a decision.

If you're considering an inscription and aren't sure where to begin, you're very welcome to get in touch with the wording you have in mind. I'll happily provide a no-obligation quote.

Begin With Your Ring

Whether your ring is newly made, inherited, or has been worn for many years, every engraving begins with a conversation.

If you're unsure what's possible, photographs are often enough for an initial assessment.

Begin a conversation.
